An advanced Access Control training course for individuals requiring enhanced technical understanding of the more sophisticated practices of an access control system.
Designed for commissioning, installation and technical support engineers that require a high-level of technical understanding of high-security access control systems, this training develops your knowledge by delving into emerging product innovations including biometrics, TCP/IP, RFID and smart card solutions, all of which are likely to be used in new security systems or to enhance those already in existence.
This course is particularly suited to design engineers, consultants, commissioning engineers, and all those looking to firmly establish their understanding of modern AC systems. Note that for the Advanced Access Control course, good prior knowledge of AC is required through existing work experience, having taken our Practical Access Control BTEC Level 3 course or other equivalent training.
Over 3 days, you will be guided by your tutor in our practical workshops to advance your existing knowledge of access control to best equip you for the changing market and ever adapting technologies.
The course carries a BTEC Level 4 Advanced Award – a respected qualification for anyone seeking career opportunities in the electronic security sector. By holding this qualification, you demonstrate to your clients and colleagues you have advanced skills in CCTV access control systems.
