Jane Cannon MBE – As Director for Security Industry Engagement, Office for Security and Counter Terrorism at the Home Office, Jane is tasked with raising awareness of their commitment to investing £11m over the next 4 years to establish the Joint Security and Resilience Centre (JSaRC).
Dr. Peter Speight CSyP – Peter has designed, developed and implemented integrated solutions in major global organisation 4 of which have won ‘Security Excellence Awards’. In 2014 he was awarded ‘Risk Manager’ of the year. He has also published his first Book entitled ‘Why Security Fails’ and this will be the subject of his talk.
David Gill CSyP – David is the Registrar for Chartered Security Professionals, and will be able to offer one-to-one advice on applications and some useful hints and tips for all potential applicants. CSyP is THE security mark of excellence – the gold standard – and you won’t fail to be excited by David’s enthusiasm and commitment.
Bill Wyllie CSyP – A philosophy & politics graduate, Bill is a former Head of Security and Business Continuity Manager at the Bank of England, and has been the external examiner / dissertation adviser for the security-related degrees of MA and MSc, and has worked with several academic institutions on the design of security training. He is the author of the books “The Millennium Security Manager”, “A Guide to Security Surveys” and (with Steve Collins) “Rules for Dealing with an Armed Robbery”.
