Mains Compliance

BTEC Level 3 Certificate

“I learned a lot in just a one day course. Very helpful…”
Hampshire Police delegate

Training Course Overview

This essential mains compliance course for all those who work on or near a live electrical supply and need to ensure that they are a ‘competent person’ under the terms of the ‘electricity at work’ regulations.

If you wish to install security systems (with the exception of Fire Panels) or other electrical equipment in commercial or domestic properties, this course will teach you how to install fused spurs and conduct other work safely, efficiently and legally within current legislation.

This course allows you to undertake ‘minor works’ to an existing electrical circuit, for example adding an additional socket or a fused spur, that does not involve the addition of a new circuit.

Although this work does not have to be undertaken by a registered electrician and you do not need to notify your local building control office, all electrical work must comply BS 7671, the wiring regulations.

Course Cost: £295.00 + VAT
Includes: BTEC level 3 certificate
Duration: 1 Day

We accept most major credit and debit cards.

A competent person is one who can demonstrate by gaining a recognised qualification that he or she can work safely on electrical supplies.

Who attends the course
