Tavcom demonstrates support for Knowledge Transfer Partnership initiative
We are pleased to welcome Peter Taylor to Tavcom.
Peter joins the Tavcom e-learning development team and will be helping us develop future online courses by creating a more interactive and engaging learning platform.
Tavcom provides students with a choice of how they can acquire accredited, career enhancing qualifications. Our online e-learning courses are intended to offer a practical alternative to traditional classroom style courses, allowing students to acquire new skill sets without any disruption to their day-to-day working life.
We have been able to recruit Peter as a result of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) initiative.
KTP is a three-way partnership involving a graduate, an employer and either a university, research organisation or further education institution. Peter has joined us as an Associate of Southampton Solent University and during an initial one year contract, we will be looking to take full advantage of his graphic design, software development and computer programming skills.
Covering a huge range of projects, KTP is one of the largest graduate recruitment programmes across the UK which has been embraced by over 3,000 organisations from micro-sized to large businesses. Tavcom is delighted to have the opportunity to join businesses such as Unilever and Rolls Royce, who have capitalised on the benefits of KTP.
