The skills shortage in the security sector is widely documented, with a lack of trained applicants compared to the needs and expectations of employers.  It is difficult to find and recruit qualified staff, and the growth the industry is experiencing is only leading to increased demand for labour. One of the best ways of combatting this issue is to attract talented individuals from other sectors and equip them with the knowledge required to work in the security sector.
