Course Overview
This course has been developed with the police, Home Office and transport companies to provide the necessary understanding of how digital footage can be effectively exported and used within our legal system. A classic combination of ‘need to know’ classroom theory supported by practical sessions in the Tavcom workshops.
From CCTV legal considerations to data protection, this short course will review the current legislation and basic network principles supported by hands-on practical training equipping you with skills required to apply what you’re learning to your role.
This course has no prerequisites to enrolment and is open to all who wish to improve their knowledge about this subject.
The course carries a BTEC Level 3 Award – a respected qualification for anyone seeking career opportunities in the electronic security sector. By holding this qualification, you demonstrate to your clients and colleagues you have proven skills in video evidence gathering.
