Course Overview
This comprehensive Designing Networks for Security training course, including IP and IP addressing Ethernet, routers and routing, allows delegates to understand the issues involved in integrating CCTV and data networks. The course can help IT or data network managers determine suitable systems design.
This course will help all those working in a technical capacity in security-related fields to ‘come to grips’ with the complexities of networking, providing an in-depth view of IP networks. It is ideal for anyone responsible for their installation, design, configuration, maintenance or testing. Delegates should have attended CCTV over IP or a similar course or have considerable experience of working with IP networks.
Monday and Tuesday:
Days 1 and 2 of this training programme are spent learning the foundations of the course content with a few practical sessions demonstrating these items.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:
Design a complete, new network infrastructure designed around CCTV and an access control system. Then, utilising points covered in the course in a ‘hands-on’ way, learn how to build, install the programme and test the network with multiple networks crossing CAT 5/6, DSL and fibre.
Over the five days, learning is delivered through group discussion, practical exercises, and expert guidance from the course tutor. As a result, training is engaging and challenges you to think in different ways.
