This move marks a significant moment for us. As many of you know, Tavcom Training has spent the last 30 years located in the heart of Hampshire, training thousands of delegates across technical security. To date, over 40,000 learners have walked through our doors, placing their trust in us to deliver high-quality training and helping them to achieve their BTEC and Tavcom Certificates in CCTV, IP & Networking, Intruder Alarms, Fire, Access Control, Control Rooms and many more. The teas, coffees and lunches are too numerous to count.
What’s new?
As we come to the end of this chapter, we look ahead to the beginning of a new one. Tavcom’s Birmingham Training Centre will offer enhanced facilities built to the highest specification, with improved accessibility, and a modern environment that supports our team and the needs of our customers now and into the future. There will be state-of-the-art technical training rooms with brand new equipment, soft skills training rooms, an on-site cafeteria, and local accommodation with parking secured at a discounted rate.
With excellent transport links our new training centre is within easy access to the M42 motorway, a few minutes’ walk from Birmingham International Train Station and a short ride from Birmingham International Airport, additionally Birmingham City centre (New Street station) is 10 minutes away which boasts an array of dining and accommodation options.
We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to our services. Further updates will be issued in due course.
