Landmark for Register of Chartered Security Professionals
In his capacity as Registrar, David Gill, CEO of the Linx International Group, recently had the pleasure of being part of a ceremonial party which saw Paul Miller, Managing Director of National Monitoring, being admitted to the Register of Chartered Security Professionals as the 100th Registrant.
During a presentation held at Haberdashers Hall, London, on 25th January, 2016 Paul Miller was presented with his Certificate of Admittance by Stuart Seymour the Master of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals and Garry Evanson, Chairman of the Security Institute, who are both also Chartered Security Professionals.
Admittance to the Register of Chartered Security Professionals signifies that a person has met the stringent criteria jointly developed by the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals and the Security Institute. This includes a strong understanding of general security principles and an ability to demonstrate a high level of competence in key areas such as security knowledge, practice skills, communication, professional commitment and leadership.
“As CEO of a Group of companies that can collectively claim to have more Chartered Security Professionals (CSyPs) than any other organisation, I was delighted to have the opportunity to congratulate Paul on his achievement,” said David Gill. “The fact that there are now 100 Registrants is something of a landmark that those of us who are engaged in developing and promoting high standards across the security sector, can rightly be proud of.”
Registration is open to security professionals from across the globe. There are currently ten different nationalities represented on the Register located across 13 different countries.
