19" 3u Universal Rack (Unpopulated) 

A rack-mount system that can be used to combine Video Distribution Amplifiers, Line Correctors and Hum Cancellers in one enclosure. The BH220 is ordered unpopulated with 16 slots available and then assembled with modules as per the customer’s requirement. The versatile design enables a choice appropriate to the installation and also offers the potential to reserve space for future capacity. Depending on the configuration, the unit will accept a maximum of 32 cameras. The rack is supplied with in line switch mode power supply, extender card to assist the installer with any required adjustments and is fully RoHS compliant.

Video Distribution Amplifier and Expander

The BH209 is a single channel Video Distribution Amplifier that when used on its own will split a video signal into two identical outputs with no loss of signal strength or signal quality. When used with one BH208 up to seven outputs can be achieved and with two BH208 can give up to twelve outputs.

The BH208 is a passive expander unit that increases the number of output video signals, each unit accepts one expander input from the BH209 and gives five extra video outputs with no loss of signal strength or signal quality. The BH208 cannot be used independently, as it requires a BH209 as the video driver. The BH209’s installer-friendly design has tool-less adjustable gain and high frequency lift controls. Desk Top Video Distribution Amplifier, 1 in 10 out

When installing CCTV equipment it is sometimes required to send the video signal from a camera to more than one monitor or other items of receiving equipment at the same time. This can be achieved using a Distribution Amplifier. The BH66-1 is a free standing Distribution Amplifier with one signal input and ten signal outputs. Hum Canceller and Line Corrector 

The BH186 unit is designed to cancel hum up to a maximum of 35V Pk-Pk and to correct for any signal loss in an unbalanced (coax) cable run, eliminating hum bars and enabling high quality pictures to be transmitted over long distances.

Hum REJECTION UNIT WITH Equalisation (Opto Coupled) 

With the BH132 inserted into the cable run the incoming coaxial cable is isolated from the outgoing coaxial cable. This is achieved using an Optocoupler in the circuitry. The isolation this provides enables the total rejection of any longitudinal hum caused by circulating earth currents in the cable up to a maximum of 90 volts peak to peak. This prevents the appearance of Hum Bars on the video monitor.

The unit has three lift controls: Gain, High Frequency Lift and Medium Frequency Lift. Adjusting these controls enables the unit to act as a basic line corrector for use over short to medium cable runs when used in conjunction with a Launch Amplifier.
