New Tavcom E-Newsletters

In response to many requests from our delegates we are now producing monthly email Newsletters to keep you in touch with all the activities here at the Tavcom Training Centre. There are reminders of upcoming courses, a monthly 'Featured Course', details of special events and much more.

Our new USA Training Centre offers first courses to North American students

We are delighted to announce that our brand new Training Centre on the west coast of America is open for business! The new Training Centre is located in the town of Murphys in California’s  ‘Goldrush Country’ - and is ideally positioned to provide courses to security personnel from throughout the United States and Canada.

The Centre operates in collaboration with Tom Pappageorge, one of the USA's leading authorities in the field of CCTV. Courses are scheduled to run from the end of June 2008 - contact us for details.
Jim Hallett

A new face at the UK Training Centre

Tavcom Training has appointed a new Training Centre Co-ordinator to manage the day-to-day operation of its Hampshire training HQ.

As the latest addition to the growing Tavcom team Mr Jim Hallett will enjoy a wide-ranging role from ‘meeting and greeting’ delegates on arrival to the preparation of lecture rooms and the maintenance of advanced security systems equipment in Tavcom’s electronic workshops. Jim joins Tavcom after 12 years experience as a service engineer which has provided him with an ideal blend of technical  and interpersonal skills. 

Security Degree

Tavcom and Bucks New University offer Security Degree course

Tavcom Training is delighted to announce that a Foundation Degree in Security Systems is now available in co-operation with Bucks New University. The two year work-based Foundation Degree in Security Systems is available in association with the University’s Faculty of Enterprise and Innovation.

Whether students are currently working in a business, are self employed or just leaving school or college the course offers a professional development springboard that is unique in the security systems sector. Those who successfully complete a Degree course will enjoy an increased effectiveness and ability to be competitive in the workplace, creating opportunities for increased remuneration, responsibility and promotion.
